15. How do you know if an item is disinfectable? If it is a multi use item such as, nail clippers, shears, combs etc.

Granny cut

This is probably the fastest cut i've ever done, maybe cause she doesn't have much hair but she just asked me to do it real tight on the sides and long enough to simply brush back on top. Wouldn't even let me style it.
SWEET. I don't think that styling is one of my strengths. Maybe cause i'm pretty plain myself.

Its a bad idea.

                    Meet Ashely!

Ashley had this great idea to do a black and white window. And my reply was, "no, that's so trashy." Then i find out that she has had that before and loves it! So after discussing other hair options, she is still set on it. So I retouched her roots (totally should have just bumped her base) then gave her the black she wanted. When I saw how far up her previous window was, i was a little shocked but she said to just do the same thing. Next time there is no way i will do it that far up.

 

Next time the furthest i will agree to go up is the yellow line.

Once again, her cut was fantastic. I think she is cute enough to get away with this but i just don't 

really love the style.

Color lessons.

This is Hailey, when we did our consultation, she expalined to me that she didn't love her current color because there wasn't much variation and she didn't love the tone either. We decided to  do some low lights and highlights, and see where it went from there. Here's where  things didn't go as planned. I think that my dark sections were too small so when we pulled them out it didn't look like there was much variation in her color because they blended so well. I think what i need to do is get a mannequin , split the hair into a bunch of sections and weave each section differently with the same color so i have a better idea of what will happen when i do what i do.        
          Hailey was happy with her hair but you can see for yourself what i mean.

 I think the hair cut turned out great!

I want layers she says!

This lovely lady has long luscious hair but was ready for a change. She decided she wanted some layers. I knew that she isn't very high maintenance so i wanted them to blend really well so she could just straighten them and they would look good. And those bangs. The bangs needed some help!

Cover the Gray!

 

In efforts to cover her gray patty rushed to the grocery store bought a box of dark brown hair dye and colored her hair. After doing this act of despair he hated her hair. It was "blah" she said. So Sarah to the rescue! I recolored and cut it for her and now I'm glad to report ,  she is loving her hair.

celebrity color

Camille gave me a picture of Audrinas hair, I pulled out my paper swatch book and and asked which colors looked most like Audrina's to her. Then i told her what i saw. So we decided to go with a happy medium then i balyaged some blond back into it.

The day of she said she loved it and it looked exactly like what she wanted. About a week later she wanted it a lot darker. 

When i was doing it, i had a feeling she wanted it darker but in the picture she showed me, there was a lot more gold tones then what she was really goin for. I offered to darken it for her. 

SO! next time, do i go with my gut instinct or do what they tell me to???

She loved her cut though.
